Master Gardener Kristine Hanson gives tips on how to pick and plant the most romanticized plant, the rose. Learn about different types of roses, how to deadhead and how they decorate your yard. Kristine says: "My favorite rose...climbing and shrub is the Iceberg. My favorite hedge rose is Love Potion for yummy scent. I always pick roses first thing in the morning. They don't wilt as fast. Be sure and cut stem under running water of in a sink so no air creeps into the stem."
